For the Men:

Ignore the ladies.  Don't be rude, but have your own stuff going on, whether it is a hobby or sports activity.  Doing something that you really enjoy.  This is attractive to girls, they will want to be apart of the fun.  It could be being around your recreational hoops team after a game or going to a concert if you are an avid music lover.  Make things happen and be active.

For the Women:

All you have to do is smile.  No, really, the same applies above.  People who are doing things and active are attractive.

Also, try not to be too hard on the men, if their stupid ok, but give the guy a chance who tries to start up a conversation.

General Dating Tips We Have Received

1.  Smile--Everybody loves a great smile.

2.  Don't take yourself so seriously - you should learn to be able to laugh at yourself.

3.  Be honest.  The truth will always come out eventually so avoid deceiving people, especially someone you're interested in.

4.  Talk about things you are passionate about. Your conversion will be more engaging if you are interested in the topic of discussion.

5.  Do something active on your first date - hiking, walking in the park, going to a concert, an amusement park, or even a sports activity.  This will ease your nervousness since your concentrating on something else.

9.  Give your date a gift on the second date.  Sometimes a gift on the first date can be deemed a little bit too forward seeming since you haven't communicated that very many times.

10.  Go to a concert.

11.  Take a short day trip.

12.  Cook for him or her on a second or third date.

13.  Go to a sporting event.  You both will have fun cheering and watching other people and won't have to be so focused on one another and those early date nerves will go away.
